It is rare, indeed, to come across a story online that praises a boss, manager, or supervisor. Usually employees turn to the internet, more specifically Reddit, to rant and call out their incompetent or shady upper management. We find hundreds of those kinds of stories every week! So when we come by a wholesome uplifting one that puts a spotlight on an actually kind boss who cultivates a healthy work environment, we stop and read. 

 

In the case of this story, it is from the POV of the beloved boss. She runs a simple yet sweet small salon and loves her employees. One day her birthday came by and she got to see firsthand how much her employees love her back.

If you want to keep that feeling alive, do little birthday celebrations for your staff when the time rolls around, or random surprises through the year. Clients pick up on this atmosphere too and it will probably lead to more referrals coming in!
